- Jeg beskriver mig selv som I like chatting with nice genuine guys that know who they are and value honesty, integrity, and family/friends.I only date local men. I've done the long distance thing. It doesn't work for me. I like a man that is out to all his friends, family and co-workers. I've been out since I was 17. I practice what I preach. I always enjoy art/museums, theatre, politics, and making friends with new high quality people who are more concerned with practicing kindness than the latest fashion or music trends.Bar scene? What's that? I do not go to clubs. They are too loud and crowded. Maybe once or twice a year I will do dancing. I'm more likely to go to a gay restaurant or a quiet pub/bar for some friendly conversation. I'm a relaxed, positive and easy going guy. I am equally comfortable in a tux or T-shirt.But, I am no jock. I am not a macho guy. I'm a regular guy. I enjoy a few good glasses of wine and some good conversation. I'm open and honest, but realistic about life and relationships. I consider myself a successful and educated professional. I'll never be rich, but I am happy with who and where I am. With each passing year, I grow more mellow. It's nice to be in my 40s. I actually know who I am, and I feel good about it. God knows I have made some mistakes in my life, but the vast majority of times I have made good choices and I've come a long way on my own because my values and my gut instinct guide me. I'm independent - a blessing and a curse.
