  • Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I grew up in a small town in Ohio--which was a real adventure--but as an adult lived in Charleston, SC for a good number of years, returning about a decade ago when my mom first got sick. (She has since passed.) Given that, my core values are pretty traditional and Midwestern, and I understand hospitality and good manners as only a Southerner can. Couple that with a few years in a Catholic seminary and some time spent exploring Eastern philosophies, you'll find that I'm a spiritual man who is not much into organized religion, a man who values hearth and home, and cherishes his friends.

    I seek a man, as my Thai friends would say, who has a good heart as a life mate. Chemistry is always important, but my past lovers have always been my best friends as well. I'm looking to live in real-time, not bs-time or fantasy time. (If your only interest is sex, then we probably wouldn't be a match.) I've got a practical side as well: if the possibility of us meeting in real-time does not exist for you for whatever reason, then please do not waste my time or yours chasing something that has no future.

    Would ideally like one man to wake up to. I am patriarchal and and enjoy good old fashioned dinner dates that hopefully lead to sex.I live with confidence and like to make those in my life feel confident around me. I like to feel like the protector. You don't have to be special to everyone, extroverted, the life of the party, a gym bunny and any of the other 25 things that gay guys post in personal ads. It's ok if you are a Greek god, but not required. You need only be yourself and have a twinkle in your eye that I can see and love that is not locked away in a jaded heart and the desire to love and be loved.
