- I Would Describe Myself As I moved to Chicago from a small farm town in South Carolina to better myself mentally and physically. I felt and knew I deserved better when it comes to my career, my education, and simply falling in love. I'm one the unfortunate few who has still yet to find someone to experience the ups and the downs, the tears and the laughter, the teaching and the learning, and just the little things that you can do for each other that will make life so much more worth it. People say it takes patience but someone like me, who has so much to give and offer, doesn't deserve another single day of waiting for what the human race coins "true love". My biggest hurdle is always first introductions. I'm a shy man when it comes to making or taking that first move. But we'll both know whether the beginning conversations of hi's and hello's are truly worth it and if we feel that spark. Then we'll judge whether it will blossom into a beautiful new chapter in a wonderful new story about you and me. Drama free is the way to always and forever be, and I surround myself with love and healthy mental vibes. Friends tend to pry where they shouldn't snoop with constant inquiries such as; "Why doesn't someone like you, Mike-Cody, have a significant other to treat you with the love and kindness you deserve. In a way I could take it as a compliment but over time it begins to worry you because you too begin to ask "WHY" There's only so many times you can hear those words until you realize that.......you're ready. I'm ready to feel love and all the beauty it has to offer from my abundance of hair all the way to my toe follicles. We only grow wiser when we take that first individual unforeseen step. That's what I'm doing. Waiting on you sir....
